I bought me first set of these tires 5 years ago. I needed a virgin tire that was good and not too pricey also not Chinese preferably made in USA. I ran the first set up 345000 miles and they still had 45% tread. I went back to the local tire place where I got them and the guy gave me $1000 for them. I added another $2400 and put on the second set last year. I was getting really good mpg and traction was always good. Noise was there but nothing too bad. Every tire is noisey when carrying 80000lb. Dont be afraid to get these tires. They are worth the money. Buy USA tires and stay away from all Chinese garbage.
